Theresa MacKnight studied Fine Arts at Mount Allison University and NSCAD. She is a full-time painter represented by Gallery on Queen.
During her residency, Theresa MacKnight will be creating a large-scale narrative oil painting in a contemporary style. Her visuals which fuses images of animals from her trail camera research intertwinded with elements gleaned from Romantic painting period. Viewers will be encouraged to engage playfully with a tabletop diorama including animal figures and miniature paintings. They will be inviting to post photos on social media.
