The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is located in Fredericton’s historic downtown, on the banks of the Saint John/Wolastoq River.

Is admission free for Indigenous Peoples?

As part of our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, admission to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery is free for Indigenous Peoples. Please present your status card to our admissions desk. If you do not have a status card, we also accept proof of status from a parent or guardian who has status, or a letter from your community.

Can I get a stroller or wheelchair at the gallery?

Yes. We have wheelchairs and strollers at the front desk, provided free of charge.

Is there parking available at the gallery?

There are metered spaces and municipal parking garages nearby. Out-of-town visitors may be eligible for a complimentary parking pass from Fredericton Tourism. We are also accessible by Fredericton’s extensive trail system and public transit. See Fredericton Transit’s full schedule.

Can I take photographs?

Yes. Feel free to take photos around the galleries, but no flash photography is permitted because it damages the artworks. Feel free to tag us on Facebook or Instagram.

How is the Beaverbrook Art Gallery funded?

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is a not-for-profit organization. We rely on grants, donations and memberships to fund our exhibitions and programs.

Is there food service on-site?

Yes. Daily Espresso offers a delicious menu of handmade drinks, coffees, sandwiches, soups and desserts.

Are food and drink allowed in the galleries?

No. Food and drink are not allowed in the galleries. Please keep food or drink limited to the lobby or café areas. Some exceptions are permitted for certain event rentals.

Is there a place to lock my bike?

Yes. There are bike racks located in the front of the gallery.

Is there a coat check or lockers available?

Yes. There is a coat rack in the main lobby and lockers available on site.

Are pets allowed into the gallery?

No, pets are not allowed at the gallery, with the exception of service animals.

How long should I allow for a visit?

We recommend that you plan to spend between one and two hours at the gallery.

You can buy a Beaverbrook membership in person at the front desk or online

What exhibitions are on view?

The Beaverbrook hosts a number of travelling exhibitions throughout the year we well as continually presenting its permanent collection. Discover which shows are currently on view.
