Join artist Ron Léger for a valuable four-part course on the fundamentals of oil painting on Saturday afternoons from November 23rd to December 14th. The course, designed for beginner to intermediate participants, will cover essential topics such as value, colour understanding, and composition. Instruction will include the basics of oil painting, surface preparation, and the use of mediums, along with demonstrations of blending and brush techniques. You'll also receive individualized advice.

Artist Bio:

Ron Léger is an art teacher, painter, and printmaker based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He skillfully balances his time between family, full-time teaching, and creating art. Ron instructs and organizes art workshops for both teachers and artists.

In 1986, he graduated from Mount Allison University with a major in printmaking and a minor in painting, receiving the Muriel Hewson Philp Prize for drawing in his final year. In 1992, he earned an education degree from the University of New Brunswick, where he was awarded the Tom Acheson Prize in Art Education. His work is featured in numerous public and private collections.
