Iel devient viral.e l’année suivante quand son personnage pose l’iconique question « As-tu un lighter? » sur Tik Tok, dans de nombreuses vidéos aimées et partagées par des millions de fans partout à travers la francophonie. Depuis, Sami multiplie les apparitions à la télévision, les entrevues et les spectacles au Canada et en Europe, tout en contribuant à populariser le chiac, la culture acadienne et les luttes queer avec humour, ironie, intelligence et charisme. Pas besoin d’un lighter quand on brille aussi fort.
Barbra Wire (MC): Barbra Wire is just like your favourite Acadian aunt that parties in kitchens. She is known for her unique and creative looks and her silly sense of humor. Not many people know this, but Ponderosa is her middle name, and as you all know, a Ponderosa is the classiest of eateries, so that tells you how she is also luxury and class. She is your host for this event; she will guide you through a smooth sinful evening!
Hilary Fluff: Allegedly born from the glittering bloodline of a certain Disney star, Hilary Fluff was destined for the spotlight. From her first strut on stage, it was clear she was a force to be reckoned with. Hilary is not your average drag queen; she is a conceptual artist who weaves storytelling into every performance. Whether she's channeling the glamour of old Hollywood or serving up futuristic fantasies, Hilary captivates audiences with her creativity. With a bias towards the infectious beats and catchy melodies of the 2000s, Hilary lives in a nostalgic era of dance floors and neon lights.
Heather Silk: Heather Silk is a young woman, artist, and established drag performer. Reading and writing skills are low on the list of Heather's Rolodex of talents; however, she will encapsulate you with her dynamic and magnetic lip-syncing and comedic skills. Audiences often describe Heather Silk as “wet” and “wild”! Heather (the humble being she is) would say she is more of a gentle soul who happens to possess an arsenal of talents that will blow your socks off.
Matante Maboule: Matante Maboule is a queen of chaos. Her lip syncs are like whirlwinds, she carries an intense untamed energy. When she performs, it is almost as if she is casting spells. To create her first drag character, Aurélie drew from sinister aesthetics and the concept of lunacy.
Prince Valentin: Prince Valentin is both a flamboyant pop star and a fairytale protagonist. He brings to the stage beauty, elegance, and romance. He is the drag king character of young drag artist Aurélie Arseneau. Through Prince Valentin, Aurélie challenges what masculinity can be, she made a sensitive and extravagant king.
djavu: djavu is a DJ that wants to create the best vibes using house music, club classics and timeless tracks. She focuses on sharing great music and creating a welcoming and inclusive space for people to connect and dance. Everyone is part of the experience.
