On Saturday, November 8th, from 1 PM to 2 PM, artists Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins will give a talk in the exhibition space of their show, Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins: Three Dimensions.
In a body of work encompassing installations, paintings, large-format sculpture, and electronic media, Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins contextualize visual art within everyday life while simultaneously referring to and reassessing twentieth century art history. Accordingly, the exhibition “Three Dimensions” addresses artistic production about temporality, its passage, perception, and manipulation, as medium, subject, or structural element. The presentation will cover the artists’ practice past and present, exploring recent events and historical events, and how Marman and Borins find form in their practice.
