Hatem is an Egyptian-born illustrator who currently lives in New Brunswick with his wife, son, and more pets than people. His work has been featured on television and in multiple publications worldwide. An award-winning and internationally-admired artist and illustrator, he has illustrated many books for young people that have earned multiple starred reviews and positions on the New York Times bestseller lists.
