
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the execution of the Gallery's marketing and communications strategy across digital, print, and on-site channels. Working under the direction of the Manager, Marketing & Communications, the Coordinator produces day-to-day content, maintains the Gallery's digital platforms, supports ticketing and CRM operations, and helps carry out the physical and digital presence of the Gallery's brand. This is a hands-on production-focused role suited to someone who is highly organized, creative, and comfortable moving between design tools, digital platforms, and administrative systems, and who can communicate fluently in both English and French
Duties
-Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, following the content calendar and brand direction set by the Manager.
-Write, design, and send the Beaverbrook's monthly newsletter.
-Regularly update and maintain the WordPress website with new exhibitions, programs, residencies, and event listings.
-Enter and maintain accurate event, program, and exhibition data in Salesforce, including event descriptions and related content.
-Support day-to-day ticketing operations in Salesforce for events and programs, including troubleshooting routine customer requests.
-Assist in coordinating production of interior and exterior signage (gallery maps, directional/wayfinding signage, event signage).
-Attend, photograph, and help promote exhibitions, programs, and events taking place at the Gallery.
-Assist in designing brochures, sponsorship packages, advertisements, and other marketing materials using Canva and Adobe InDesign.
-Support the creation of digital ad content (e.g., Meta)
-Draft French translations and/or bilingual versions of newsletters, social content, signage, press materials, and other public-facing communications.
-Assist in drafting and distributing press releases and media communications, in both English and French.
-Provide bilingual front-line support for media, partner, and public communications as needed.
-Assist the Manager with research, data-gathering, and the development of strategy for marketing and communications.
-Track and report on basic social media and website analytics to support the Manager's performance reporting.
-Collaborate with artists, curators, and the Development team to gather content and assets for promotion.
Requirements
-Post-secondary training in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
-1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or graphic design.
-Fluently bilingual in English and French, required, including strong written French for public communications.
-Experience with Canva and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with WordPress and Salesforce (or a comparable CRM) is an asset.
-Strong photography and visual storytelling skills.
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
-A positive, independent work ethic and comfort working as part of a small, collaborative team.
-Valid Criminal Record Check, upon request.
