Dix Tom Thomson : Une pièce de théâtre originale de Ryan Griffith : Tom Thomson, l'un des artistes canadiens les plus influents du XXe siècle et l'une des principales sources d'inspiration du Groupe des Sept, a donné une forme emblématique à la nature sauvage canadienne. Malgré des recherches approfondies sur sa vie, son œuvre et sa mort mystérieuse, on ignore encore beaucoup de choses sur Thomson. Ten Tom Thomsons de Ryan Griffith cherche à découvrir de nouvelles possibilités sur ce qu'il aurait pu être, tout en recontextualisant l'impact durable de ses contributions à l'art canadien.

Ryan Griffith grew up on the banks of the Wolastoq River in Lower Woodstock, New Brunswick.  A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada (2007), his plays Fortune of Wolves et sur Lutz have been published by Playwrights Canada Press. His original plays Returning Fire et sur A Brief History Of The Maritimes and Everywhere Else, as well as his adaptation of Alistair MacLeod’s The Boat have been produced by Theatre New Brunswick. 

Most recently, he was awarded the inaugural Jenny Munday Atlantic Canadian Play Award by PARC for his two-act play, Wharf. Ryan has served as a board member for PARC (Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre) and the Playwrights Guild of Canada. Currently, he is the Artistic Director for the Next Folding Theatre Company in Fredericton.
