About the Performers:

Weeping January Martin:

Drawing from a lifetime living across North America, Weeping January Martin is a Two-Spirit Mi'kmaw artist and member of the Listuguj Mi'kmaq Nation who performs songs of sorrow, liberation, and hope through a Queer Indigenous lens. Rooted in the traditions of folk blues, Martin adds a modern flair to their sound by incorporating elements of jazz and popular culture, supported by intricate fingerpicking and stirring rhythms that are both evocative and mesmerizing.

Hilary Fluff:

Allegedly born from the glittering bloodline of a certain Disney star, Hilary Fluff was destined for the spotlight. From her first strut on stage, it was clear she was a force to be reckoned with.

Hilary is not your average drag queen; she is a conceptual artist who weaves storytelling into every performance. Whether she's channeling the glamour of old Hollywood or serving up futuristic fantasies, Hilary captivates audiences with her creativity.

With a bias towards the infectious beats and catchy melodies of the 2000s, Hilary lives in a nostalgic era of dance floors and neon lights.

Heather Silk:

Heather Silk is a young woman, artist, and established drag performer. Reading and writing skills are low on the list of Heather's Rolodex of talents; however, she will encapsulate you with her dynamic and magnetic lip-syncing and comedic skills. Audiences often describe Heather Silk as “wet” and “wild”! Heather (the humble being she is) would say she is more of a gentle soul who happens to possess an arsenal of talents that will blow your socks off.

Barbra Wire:

Barbra Ponderosa Wire, Barb for short, is just like your favorite Acadian aunt who loves a kitchen party. Classy like the Ponderosa establishment on Mountain Rd, which is now closed, she brings elegance and style to any event! Just like a nice steak dinner with a salad bar, she is the sneeze guard to your heart and will guide you through smoothly, like an airline host would on an international flight, through the evening’s festivities.
