OUR PROGRAMS

The Beaverbrook has a rich roster of enriching programs for the whole family. Here are some of our great annual programs below. Be sure to check our events calendar for our full schedule of programs and events.
Workshops
We have many great workshops taking place at the gallery for a variety of age groups and skill levels.
December 7 at 12:15 PM:  Join our Curator, John Leroux, on your lunch break for Curator’s Crunch! During this 30-minute session you’ll learn more about an exhibition or artist that we have on display at the gallery.

The next Curator’s Crunch will take place on November 9 from 12:15 to 12:45 in the RBC Room. Tickets are just $5 a person and free for members.

November’s Curator’s Crunch topic is Alex Janvier.

Janvier was among the first wave of modern Indigenous artists in Canada, and he has established a unique and deeply respected voice among painters in Canada. From a nationally-touring retrospective hosted by the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in 2018 to his painting of the massive ceiling dome in the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, this talk will also celebrate the recent donation of the gallery's first Janvier work in our permanent collection.
