Position description:

The Manager of Marketing & Communications develops and implement strategies to market the Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s exhibitions, educational and public programs, services and products using both online and offline communications channels. The incumbent will be also be responsible for designing and implementing digital and traditional media campaigns to communicate the gallery’s messaging to as wide and diverse an audience as possible. The position also entails the management of the gallery’s website.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree with a focus in marketing (including digital marketing), communications, public relations, or other relevant areas of study.
• Minimum 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience.
• High levels of proficiency in digital media as well as digital marketing, including web content management and development (i.e., WordPress), SEO and analytics.
• Fluently bilingual, with superior written and spoken abilities in both English and French.
• Strong and positive work ethic, with ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross departmental project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
• Occasional after-hours work required.

Candidates must be able to provide a valid and acceptable clearance letter (Criminal Records Check) upon request, obtained from the police department, for employment at the gallery. Instructions will be provided at the offer stage.
