Avec le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de Christopher Pratt le 5 juin dernier, le Canada a perdu l'un de ses meilleurs artistes qui a pass\u00e9 sa vie \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter les paysages terrestres, marins et humains de sa ch\u00e8re Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Son regard intense \u00e9tait constamment \u00e0 la recherche de m\u00e9taphores visuelles r\u00e9sonnantes de la maison et qui faisaient \u00e9galement allusion \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 de la vie, la sienne et la n\u00f4tre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Les compositions de Christopher \u00e9taient teint\u00e9es d'\u00e9merveillement, rigoureusement ordonn\u00e9es et pourtant envelopp\u00e9es d'un sentiment terriblement accablant de m\u00e9lancolie, de myst\u00e8re et de nostalgie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ce qui nous reste aujourd'hui est un art durable et radieux qui t\u00e9moigne de la capacit\u00e9 unique de Christopher \u00e0 arr\u00eater le temps suffisamment longtemps pour nous permettre de sonder les dimensions infinies de l'exp\u00e9rience humaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bien que diminu\u00e9 par sa disparition, l'art canadien a \u00e9t\u00e9 enrichi par son esprit cr\u00e9atif et titanesque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Christopher embrassait avec amour tout ce qui tombait sous ses yeux et le transformait, comme par magie, en quelque chose d'\u00e9ternel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La communaut\u00e9 de Beaverbrook pleure sa disparition et pr\u00e9sente ses sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 la famille Pratt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
