The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is now accepting applications for the third annual Theodore Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Fredericton, New Brunswick, September 8, 2025) \u2013<\/strong> The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is excited to announce that in collaboration with the Throop Family Foundation, it is now accepting applications from Atlantic Canadian visual artists for the third annual Theodore Prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Issu d'un d\u00e9sir de redonner \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 des arts visuels du Canada atlantique, le prix Theodore est nomm\u00e9 en l'honneur d'un membre sp\u00e9cial de la famille Throop qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 un exemple de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et de bonne volont\u00e9. Administr\u00e9 par le Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts Beaverbrook, le Prix Th\u00e9odore est une r\u00e9compense annuelle de 20 000 $, attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 un artiste du Canada atlantique dont les \u0153uvres t\u00e9moignent d'un haut niveau d'excellence artistique et cr\u00e9ative, d'une ma\u00eetrise du m\u00e9dium utilis\u00e9 par l'artiste et d'un niveau d'estime reconnu par la communaut\u00e9 des conservateurs et des galeries du Canada atlantique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline to apply for this year\u2019s Theodore Prize is November 1, 2025.
