{"id":2484,"date":"2024-01-15T13:51:50","date_gmt":"2024-01-15T18:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beaverbrookartgallery.org\/?p=2484"},"modified":"2024-01-15T14:19:21","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T19:19:21","slug":"beaverbrook-art-gallery-to-open-seven-new-exhibitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beaverbrookartgallery.org\/fr\/beaverbrook-art-gallery-to-open-seven-new-exhibitions\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts Beaverbrook pr\u00e9sente sept nouvelles expositions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(Fredericton, NB) \u2013 <\/strong>Le mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts Beaverbrook s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 mettre en montre trois expositions de premier plan ax\u00e9es sur des artistes canadiens et autochtones contemporains ainsi que quatre expositions d\u2019excellence mettant \u00e0 l\u2019honneur des artistes du Canada atlantique lors d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d\u2019inauguration ouverte au public qui se tiendra le 20 janvier de 16 h \u00e0 18 h.<sup>th<\/sup> from 4 to 6 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019exposition th\u00e9matique Graeme Patterson : D\u2019\u00e9tranges oiseaux, organis\u00e9e par Ray Cronin, notre nouveau conservateur en art canadien, est une nouvelle production contemporaine passionnante pour le mus\u00e9e Beaverbrook. Les sculptures de Graeme sont le d\u00e9cor de projections anim\u00e9es et d\u2019un environnement en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle. Les \u00e9tourneaux dans D\u2019\u00e9tranges oiseaux sont une esp\u00e8ce envahissante qui se propage de fa\u00e7on incontr\u00f4lable jusqu\u2019\u00e0 bouleverser l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me fragile du marais. La mer finira par recouvrir le monde construit par ces \u00e9tranges oiseaux, effa\u00e7ant toute trace de leur existence, ne laissant qu\u2019une \u00e9tendue d\u2019eau et un grand h\u00e9ron, observateur des fac\u00e9ties de ces envahisseurs. Ces avatars refl\u00e8tent deux facettes de l\u2019artiste, dont la vision nous permet de nous glisser dans son monde, un monde qui refl\u00e8te \u00e9trangement le n\u00f4tre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab Je suis ravi de retrouver Graeme Patterson pour sa nouvelle exposition D\u2019\u00e9tranges oiseaux, d\u00e9clare Cronin. Graeme est l\u2019un des artistes les plus accomplis de notre r\u00e9gion et je sais que le public du mus\u00e9e Beaverbrook va adorer l\u2019ambition et l\u2019humour de son travail \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En parall\u00e8le \u00e0<em> <\/em>D\u2019\u00e9tranges oiseaux, deux autres expositions de premier plan seront mises en montre : En chantier : Nouvelles sculptures canadiennes, organis\u00e9e par Ray Cronin, ainsi que La vie et l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de Kenojuak Ashevak, organis\u00e9e par Dorset Fine Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artiste originaire de Cape Dorset dont la carri\u00e8re couvre plus de cinq d\u00e9cennies, Kenojuak Ashevak (1927-2013) appartenait \u00e0 une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019artistes inuit pr\u00e9curseurs. Elle s\u2019est illustr\u00e9e sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale et reste consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme l\u2019une des plus grandes artistes et ic\u00f4nes culturelles du Canada. Cette r\u00e9trospective en tourn\u00e9e dans tout le pays pr\u00e9sente des dessins in\u00e9dits issus des archives de la coop\u00e9rative West Baffin Eskimo, dont Kenojuak s\u2019est servie pour cr\u00e9er certaines de ses plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres gravures sur pierre, lithographies et eaux-fortes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En chantier : nouvelles sculptures canadiennes vient combler l\u2019absence relative de sculptures canadiennes contemporaines dans la collection permanente du mus\u00e9e Beaverbrook avec une s\u00e9lection de dons, de propositions d\u2019acquisitions et de pr\u00eats de la part des artistes les plus int\u00e9ressants \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle dans le domaine de la sculpture au Canada. Une collection d\u2019art, tout comme une carri\u00e8re d\u2019artiste, est en \u00e9volution permanente. En chantier : nouvelles sculptures canadiennes l\u00e8vera l\u00e9g\u00e8rement le voile sur la fa\u00e7on dont le mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts provincial du Nouveau-Brunswick peut encourager les deux. <em>En chantier: nouvelles sculptures canadiennes <\/em>will provide a glimpse into how both can be fostered by New Brunswick\u2019s provincial art gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lors de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, le public pourra aussi d\u00e9couvrir les expositions suivantes : Greg Charlton : Grenier ; Ian MacEachern : le noir et blanc, c\u2019est comme la radio ; Dessins d\u2019artistes en sculpture ; et V\u00eatements d\u2019art sign\u00e9s Joseph Kashetsky : 50 ans plus tard\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are very pleased to open this diverse array of exhibitions to the public on January 20<sup>th<\/sup>.
