L\u2019inspiration pour la s\u00e9rie prit naissance au moment du dernier souffle du p\u00e8re de l\u2019artiste et se prolongea jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la derni\u00e8re volont\u00e9 de sa m\u00e8re, \u00e9mise 16 ans plus tard. Elle nous porte \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir loin des distractions et du tumulte du quotidien. En se servant d\u2019une forme organique simple rappelant une fleur de jardin ordinaire, l\u2019\u0153uvre encapsule l\u2019inspiration profonde d\u2019un souvenir suivi d\u2019une expiration lente et m\u00e9andrique. Cela fait plus de 40 ans qu\u2019Ann Manuel exerce en tant qu\u2019artiste multidisciplinaire touchant le dessin, l\u2019estampe, la peinture et l\u2019installation. Originaire de Corner Brook \u00e0 Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, elle habite aujourd\u2019hui au Nouveau-Brunswick et travaille \u00e0 temps plein en studio \u00e0 Fredericton et \u00e0 St Andrews.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Cette exposition est organis\u00e9e et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en collaboration avec le Mus\u00e9e du Nouveau-Brunswick.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breath - An Installation by Ann Manuel\u202f is the end work of a series that spans two decades and utilizes multiple media.
