Heather McCaig is a flameworked borosilicate glass artist based near Sussex, New Brunswick. With a great interest and attention to detail in portraying the fragile natural world and inspire a need for its protection, this exhibition features handmade sculpted glass of Canada’s various provincial flowers. With their fusion of solidity and fragility, this collection is visually bold, technically rigorous, and strikingly colourful.
Curated by John Leroux and organized by the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
