Homage is a nationally-touring collection of 40 neck-pieces that pays tribute to and celebrates exceptional Canadian women. Created by renowned metal artist Donald Stuart, the necklaces are accompanied by sketches and short biographies, allowing the viewer to explore these personal histories from a fresh perspective. Necklaces denote style, status and wealth; as archetypal symbols of power and importance they are a fitting vehicle to represent seminal women in Canadian history. The choices of materials for each necklace are as varied as the women themselves, each infused with meaning and significance.
