Sculpture Songs

Maybe you’ve seen Fredericton’s fabulous public art, but have you heard it? Sculpture Songs creates an enhanced experience of public sculpture and promotes original music by students at Leo Hayes High School and Fredericton High School.  Students researched a selection of sculptures and learned techniques for creating ekphrastic compositions. How do you translate visual art into sound? Check out the interviews with the young composers on Sculpturesongs.com. We are so proud of to share these songs all summer long. Use your phone to scan the QR code on location or on the map, or listen to the music anytime by visiting the website or visiting sculpturesongsfredericton.bandcamp.com/

Maps are available at City Hall and various locations.

This community outreach project is supported by the City of Fredericton.
