We're part of FROSTival again this year! Here's what's going on as part of our programming:

Art for Frosti-tots
10 am – 11 am

Workshop for ages 2-5 with adult accompaniment, all materials included.
Free for members, $10/session for non-members.


Creative flow: Yoga and art
10 am – 12 noon

Be moved by great works of art and make art with your whole body! Flow through the Beaverbrook Art Gallery with YogaGrow’s Amy Murphy then move this energy into creative expression through drawing, painting, and printmaking with artist Christina Thomson.
All skill levels welcome. Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfy clothes. Mats will be available for $2.
Participants: 20 adults maximum
Cost: $15

Family Art Workshop
2 pm – 4 pm

The Gallery’s regular Family art workshop will be inspired by Fredericton Winter scenes from the past.
Roberte Melanson will get participants warmed up with creative thinking and collaborative art-making.
Free for members, $15/family for non-members.

Special Art Lovers Tours
2 pm and 3 pm

Share the Love for Art! Guided tours at 2 pm (English) and 3 pm (French).
Free with admission.


A Winter Palette: Acrylic Painting workshop
2 pm – 4 pm   

Acrylic Painting workshop for children ages 7-10.
Join artist Christina Thomson for a look at winter landscapes and cityscapes by famous artists and create your own masterpiece in acrylics on canvas.
Cost: $10 per child


Sweet as Art! Gumball mural making
11 am to 3 pm  

Help us create a new gumball mural, which will become part of the exhibition Sweet as Art, opening at 5 pm on February 11.
Join artist Franz Spohn and Gallery staff, and collaborate on the making of a mural made entirely of gumballs! Have a blast with the drawing and painting activities animated by our artists and teachers.
