The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will be open to visitors of all ages from 12 to 5 with FREE admission and programs!

Free Tours of the Gallery’s exhibitions:
1 pm: English
2 pm: French
4 pm: English

Artist demonstration: Michael Smith
1:00 to 4:00 pm: Join artist Michael Smith in the Bruno Bobak Artist-in-Residence Studio as he demonstrates watercolour techniques.

Free Workshops:
1:30 – 3:00: Create landscapes in pencil, charcoal, and chalk with artist Tim Hogan in the RBC Learning Centre. Drop-in, as space permits.

1:30 – 3:00: Family art workshop: Create surrealist mixed media stories inspired by Salvador Dalí’s Santiago el Grande in the Education Centre. Registration required. Please register by calling 458-2028

3:30 – 5:00: Create “House and Home” collages with Peggy Holt in the RBC Learning Centre. Drop-in, as space permits.

Free musical performance:
3:00 – 3:45: Percussionist Ian Gibson, in partnership with Tutta Musica and the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra.

Free presentation: Overlooked: two New Brunswick artists and the Black experience
4:00: Join us in welcoming the New Brunswick Black History Society’s Graham Nickerson and Mary Louise McCarthy, who will present on the two works spotlighted in Overlooked: two New Brunswick artists and the Black experience
