Artist Workshop: Marlene Creates

Sept 30: 10am-12pm. Join Marlene Creates as she works with the public during her artist residency in Making Memory Maps. Part of the Scotiabank Artist Residency Program. Free workshop, materials included. **Registration required. Please call 458-2028 to register; maximum 15 participants.

Closure Notice

Oct 2- 4: The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will be closed to the public October 2 through 4 as we undertake some work near the main entrance. We apologize for the inconvenience. More info here.

Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00pm. Instructor in October: Marcus Kingston. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+; please call ahead to register. Cost is free for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included.

Oct 5: Visual artist and instructor Marcus Kingston will introduce students to the wonders and excitement of sketching urban landscapes as well as pastoral and historic settings. Students will work on sketching techniques to create beautiful renderings of popular buildings and naturalistic scenes.

Curator’s Talk: Jeffrey Spalding

Oct 5: 7pm. Join Chief Curator Jeffrey Spalding as he leads visitors in an exploration of the new retrospective exhibition, Oscar Cahén. Free event and all are welcome to attend.

Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45am - Children ages 2-5 and their parents participate in fun art games, hands-on activities, and storytelling. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included.

Oct 6: Ephemeral clay sculptures

Family Art Classes: SECOND & LAST Sunday of each month, 2:00- 4:00 PM- Families join Roberte Melanson and create wonderful memories and art together. Classes are fun and relaxed, open to adults and children ages 5 and up, and all materials are provided.
Admission is free for members, $5 per person or $15 for a family of 4.
