Curator Crunch: Join Manager of Collections and Exhibitions John Leroux each month for an exciting, intimate, and fast-paced look at artworks on display. Designed to comfortably fit in your lunch break, these short presentations on artistic treasures are open to everyone. See what these artworks say, and how they connect us with the world – how’s that for “food for thought”?

Musical Evening: Olivier Messiaen: Quartet for the end of time

June 14: 7:00 pm. Nadia Francavilla, Carl Gionet, Paul Pulford, and Richard Hornsby perform the landmark Quartet for the End of Time, composed by French composer Olivier Messiaen for clarinet, violin, cello, and piano. Event is free and open to all. 


Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is free for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please call ahead to register.

June 14: Through studying the features of the human and face and form, participants will undertake mixed-media projects that incorporate drawing basics while experimenting with various materials. June instructor: Marie Fox


Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45am - Children ages 2-5 and their parents participate in fun art games, hands-on activities, and storytelling. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included.

June 15: Pastels in Paris


pARTage: This free program brings artists and guests together in French-language conversations about art and creativity. Presentations may include everything from lectures and readings to musical and dance performances, and more!

June 17: 3:00 pm. Judith Ouellette, The painting techniques of the grand masters featured in our collection
