June 18: “Metalsmithing for Daily and Ceremonial Use” Brigitte Clavette, artist and teacher at NBCCD, shares her perspective on creation in contemporary jewellery-making.

National Aboriginal Day

June 21: Join us at 12:15pm to celebrate National Aboriginal Day with a special lunchtime performance by Natalie Sappier. More information here

Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00pm. Instructor in June: Michael McEwing. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+; please call ahead to register. Cost is free for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included.

June 22: Michael will lead us on an exploration of various painting, mixed media, and printmaking styles and techniques. Some of the projects will be inspired by the Canadian Mosaic exhibition celebrating 150 years of art from the permanent collection.

Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45am - Children ages 2-5 and their parents participate in fun art games, hands-on activities, and storytelling. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included.

June 23: Drum making

Family Art Classes: SECOND & LAST Sunday of each month, 2:00- 4:00 PM- Families join Roberte Melanson and create wonderful memories and art together. Classes are fun and relaxed, open to adults and children ages 5 and up, and all materials are provided.
Admission is free for members, $5 per person or $15 for a family of 4.
