Exhibition tour and talk
Apr 14, 2pm. Julie Nash, Curatorial Assistant, Canadian Art, at the National Gallery of Canada, leads visitors through the exhibition, James Wilson Morrice: The A. K. Prakash Collection in Trust to the Nation. Free and open to all.
James Wilson Morrice: The A. K. Prakash Collection in Trust to the Nation is organized by the National Gallery and is presented with the exceptional support of The A.K. Prakash Foundation, The Donald Sobey Family Foundation, and the National Gallery of Canada Foundation. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s presentation of the exhibition is further supported by the Harriet Irving Endowment.
Apr 14, 4pm: Join us for the official opening reception of the exhibition James Wilson Morrice: The A.K. Prakash Collection in Trust to the Nation, organized by the National Gallery of Canada. Presented with the exceptional support of the A.K. Prakash Foundation, the Donald R. Sobey Family Foundation and the National Gallery of Canada Foundation. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s presentation of the exhibition is further supported by the Harriet Irving Endowment.
Also opening that day: Tom Forrestall: Sketchbooks of a Lifetime. A celebration of a gift from the artist. Event is free and open to all.
Apr 15, 3pm: We regret to inform you that pARTage, scheduled for Sunday April 15 has been cancelled.
Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is free for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please call ahead to register.
Apr 19: In April, Angela Beek will focus on traditional Maliseet designs. Classes may include porcupine quillwork, beading, rawhide shakers, birchbark etching.
Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45am - Children ages 2-5 and their parents participate in fun art games, hands-on activities, and storytelling. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included.

13 Moon Teachings: A Celebration of Earth Day
Apr 22, 1pm: Offered in partnership with the Mi’kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre at the University of New Brunswick, Opolahsomuwehs (the Centre’s Elder-in-Residence, Imelda Perley) will host a Thirteen Moon Teachings session at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in celebration of Earth Day. Read more here.
