Curator Crunch: The Italian Connection

Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is $8 for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028.
Oct 10: Lawrence Peters will explore the many worlds of James Wilson Morrice. Morrice enjoyed the life of a “flaneur”, or an observer of the greatest flowering of modern art in France: impressionism. Be inspired by Morrice’s use and appreciation of the café as artistic scene, as you create your own pochades of café scenes at the gallery.
Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45 am. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028.
Oct 11: Rolling sculpture
Oct 12: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Ralph Simpson will teach participants how to weave plant fibre into small baskets. This workshop is an introduction to traditional basket making. Cost: $75 non-members, $65 members. To register please call (506) 458-2028.
Oct 14: The Gallery will be open Thanksgiving Monday from 12 noon to 5:00 pm. Admission by donation.
