Oct 14: The Gallery will be open Thanksgiving Monday from 12 noon to 5:00 pm. Admission by donation.
Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is $8 for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028.
Oct 17: Lawrence Peters will explore the many worlds of James Wilson Morrice. Morrice enjoyed the life of a “flaneur”, or an observer of the greatest flowering of modern art in France: impressionism. Be inspired by Morrice’s use and appreciation of the café as artistic scene, as you create your own pochades of café scenes at the gallery.
Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45 am. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028.
Oct 18: Pointillist stamping
Oct 19: 7:00 pm – midnight. Enjoy a 1959-style evening in a 2019 Gallery, as you celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Time is running out; buy your tickets today, and don’t miss the best party yet! BUY TICKETS HERE.
Please note: the Gallery will be closed to the public during the day of October 19. Ticketholders for Gala 60 are welcome to arrive at 7:00 pm through the side pavilion entrance.
