Curator Crunch: Join Manager of Collections and Exhibitions John Leroux each month for an exciting, intimate, and fast-paced look at artworks on display. Designed to comfortably fit in your lunch break, these short presentations on artistic treasures are open to everyone. See what these artworks say, and how they connect us with the world – how’s that for “food for thought”?
Jan 9: 12:15- 12:50 pm, A Miller Brittain Masterpiece
Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is free for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please call ahead to register.
Jan 10: Emilie's course is designed for anyone wishing to explore basic urban sketching and watercolor painting techniques. You will learn how to draw from still shapes and photographs plus explore the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including color mixing, transparency and expression. January instructor: Emilie Bottaro
Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45 am - Children ages 2-5 and their parents participate in fun art games, hands-on activities, and storytelling. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included.
