Creativity Flow Yoga

Jan 16: 7:00- 8:30 pm. Join Rachel Barrett of Luminous and Wild Yoga for a 90 minute Frostival workshop to bring a little more magic into your winter. This practice will lead you through pranayama (breath work), asana (yoga postures), and meditation with a focus on creative sequencing and movement - to release old patterns and build new ones. Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is $8 for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028

Jan 16: Journey into the mind of the artist through the exploration of the formal elements of art. Katrina Slade will guide students through lessons on the elements of art using both wet and dry media in a variety of creative lessons.


Art for Tots: Fridays from 10:00- 10:45 am. Cost is free for members, $10 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028.

Exhibition Opening

Jan 18: 5:00 pm. Join us for the official opening reception of new exhibitions at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Event is free and open to all. 


Warm up with Watercolours!

Jan 18: 1:00- 4:00 pm. Learn techniques such as flat and graded wash, wet in wet, dry brush, spray techniques, colour lifting, edge softening and layering. Janel Doucet will teach you how basic techniques and colour theory are key to creative success with watercolour. Buy tickets here.
