The Group of Seven Reimagined

Dec 5: 7:00 pm. As 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of Canada's iconic Group of Seven, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery is pleased to present dramatic readings from a beautiful new book that activates the art through short stories.The event will feature Fredericton author and UNB English professor Mark Jarman, who has the first text in the book. Mark will be reading his short piece, followed by readings by other notable Frederictonians: Ilkay Silk, Kate Rogers, John Ball, and John and Tait Leroux.

Thursday night art class: Thursday, 7:00- 9:00 pm. All skill levels are welcome, ages 16+. Cost is $8 for members, $15 per session for non-members; materials are included. Please register by calling 458-2028. 

Dec 5: Journey into the mind of the artist through the exploration of the formal elements of art. Katrina Slade will guide students through lessons on the elements of art using both wet and dry media in a variety of creative lessons.
